Vodka: Do you know the actual meaning of Vodka?

Vodka is an alcoholic drink originated in Eastern Europe. In this era it is a most popular alcoholic drink in the world.

The name Vodka is split in to two fragments. 1. Voda and 2. Ka.



In Russian language Voda means water. Vodka is not like a water in taste but it is look like a water. In Name Vodka "Voda" stands for Water.

It has been noted that first official production of Vodka by distillery was started in Vyatka Chronicle of 1174. So, "Ka" fragment was cut from Vyatka Chronicle and put in to Vodka.

Conclusion:
Vodka = Voda (Water) + Ka (Vyatka Chronicle )
